A lot of us Pravasi Bharatiya owe our lives here in the United States to our upbringing in India. Through Aksharam Mission, we create an opportunity to give back to Our Country.

Aksharam Mission connects bright, underprivileged children who need financial support to fuel their dreams.

Malayalam Class

Through this platform, we create a space for the young Pravasi Malayalis to encourage learning Malayalam.

We provide structured Malayalam classes that are recognized by the Government of Kerala, India. On completion of all the courses, the students receive certifications equivalent to that of a 10th class diploma degree in Malayalam language sanctioned by the State Government of Kerala.

Media

This initiative by Aksharam Mission is a platform for creativity through any medium for the kids, by the kids. It promotes children to create art in the vernacular language.

Children are nurtured and guided to produce printed, audio and visual art that is published and promoted.

Malayalam Library

Literature is one of the best ways to kindle the love for a language and encourage Pravasi Malayalis to immerse in the culture.

Through the Aksharam Mission, we help Pravasi Malayalis access this rich heritage through our Malayalam Library where they can borrow books and unleash their imaginations.
